Ellie and Abbie has a surprising, poignant emotional centre. This, in addition to its genuinely funny jokes, makes it one of the most moving and successful WLW comedies I’ve seen. 8.7/10

I was NOT prepared for Ana and Vitória. This is a fascinating, baffling and very bad movie. 3.5/10
Dating Amber works on a lot of levels. It’s funny, it’s tragic and it shows how much gay acceptance has come in 26 years and that we still have a ways to go. 7.6/10
I have issues with attention span and The Objects of Love challenged that. 5.2/10
Duck Butter is just two random people who are inherently unsuitable for each other who realize it sooner than most. I just don’t care. 3.9/10
Even as the film’s weakest point, Another Way’s core same-sex romance is successful, moving, and does bring humanity to a story that could easily get bogged down in themes and commentary. 8.2/10
All I know is that at the end of Make Up, I just felt confused. And not a good Muholland Dr. kind of confused. 5.7/10
he Coming of Sin has some of the worst sexual politics I’ve seen in a movie. It doesn’t like women but also isn’t even competent enough to explain why it doesn’t like women. 1.7/10
With the obvious exception of The Handmaiden (which has the unfair advantage of being the best WLW movie), The Night Watch is the best adaption of a Sarah Waters novel that I’ve seen. 8.4/10
Lady in nice suits is a great initial plan for a movie. But it’s absolutely not a concept that can sustain a feature film. 5.4/10
