There are positives to Elvis & Madonna but even those positives come out of a place of there just not being enough trans narratives so I’ll take what I can get. 5.4/10

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a WLW movie that has a bigger disparity between the quality of its writing and the quality of its directing than Take Me For a Ride. 5.0/10
I was incredibly surprised to learn a woman directed Baby Jane as it seems to genuinely dislike its female characters and what they stand for. 3.6/10
Overall, Porcupine Lake is a success. It makes excellent use of a Canadian setting and manages to tell an innocent story about budding sexuality. 6.3/10
Finally, a movie for lesbian Horse Girls. Wish a little more happened in Of Girls and Horses, though. 5.3/10
Burn Burn Burn is a really solid movie. Much as there are successful moments of comedy, it is more likely to make you messy cry than laugh. 7.3/10
What really brings A Piece of Our Life down is the two scenes of sexual assault and how the film didn’t treat this with the seriousness that topic requires. 5.6/10
I love the concept of Riot Girls. A post-apocalypse with queer protagonists where apparently everyone deals with the apocalypse by getting really into punk? Hell yeah! 6.4/10
Well, Hayley “Lesbian Jesus” Kiyoko is in Becks so it shouldn’t be a surprise that the movie is good. 6.4/10
