While Blood of the Tribades has a sense of humour, this is a movie that has some weirdly deep lore and is ultimately, not a comedy. Which is sort of disappointing because it doesn’t exactly work as a horror movie. 4.1/10

Personally, I did not enjoy The Ladies Almanack. That being said, the amount of love, passion and creativity present in every shot in this film is something I admire. 4.6/10
perhaps because I’m already a fan of her output, We Are Gamily fell short of my high expectations for a Zero Chou film. 4.7/10
Axolotl Overkill is a stylized and challenging film with great cinematography. It’s a deeply impressive debut from Helene Hegemann. 5.6/10
Sex is weird. Sexuality is perhaps weirder. The Book of Gabrielle understands and even celebrates that through its lead character’s stories and experiences. 6.6/10
Kate Can’t Swim has various positives and a basic level of competence which I admire, but can’t recommend. This is one of those instances of there just not being enough here. 4.8/10
With comedies, it always comes down to the simple question, “is it funny?” And Kiss Me! isn’t funny. 4.2/10
Queer people deserve this sort of wish fulfillment, cliche romantic media. More than that, they deserve it to be good. The Substitute is here to be an entry into that all too rare club of quality queer wish fulfillment romances. 6.9/10
Anchor and Hope is one of at least a half dozen very similar themed movies I’ve seen. And within that collection of films, it’s a middling entry. 5.4/10
