I’m a big fan of how The Quietude depicts its fucked up content. They underplay it. There’s this sense that the characters in the film and perhaps the film itself don’t quite realize how fucked up this all is. And that juxtaposition makes it all the more disturbing. 7.5/10

I kept waiting to enjoy the movie. Then, the credits rolled. And I was still waiting for Snapshots to get good. 5.7/10
While I can’t outright give this film a positive rating, I do think Her Side of the Bed shows a lot of potential. 5.5/10
Eva + Candela needed to do 20% more, especially in the writing department to bring it up from a mixed review to an outright positive review for me. 5.3/10
Women and Sometimes Men is one of those movies where it ended and I questioned what the point of telling this story was. 3.2/10
Even without my personal feelings on the franchise and this character, the film is still a middling and derivative action thriller. 5.5/10
I was NOT prepared for Ana and Vitória. This is a fascinating, baffling and very bad movie. 3.5/10
Duck Butter is just two random people who are inherently unsuitable for each other who realize it sooner than most. I just don’t care. 3.9/10
Nina isn’t a wholly new story or anything that warrants a two hour and ten minute runtime yet here we are. 5.1/10
Overall, Porcupine Lake is a success. It makes excellent use of a Canadian setting and manages to tell an innocent story about budding sexuality. 6.3/10
