D.E.B.S. is a rarity within the WLW film genre in two ways. The first is that it’s an action movie, the second is that is has a happy ending. I champion both of these genres. On the downside, when I watch a WLW film, I don’t like it to stylistically remind me of the live action Scooby-Doo films. 6.1/10

Genuinely funny yet effectively dramatic, Saving Face is a successful film with great characters, writing and performance. 8.4/10
Unlike most happy WLW movies, Nina’s Heavenly Delights, did not make me feel a lingering desire for a perfect girlfriend. Instead, I finished the film mostly craving really good curry. 6.4/10
Zoe.Misplaced is the only WLW movie I can find whose English title starts with Z. Given that my expectations for this movie amounted to nothing more than it being a WLW movies whose title started with Z, Zoe.Misplaced exceeded my expectations. 5.0/10
If you like wacky misunderstand romantic comedies, you will like this movie just fine. As for me, I found it too hard to find humour in the events depicted in Out at the Wedding as they became increasingly elaborate and ridiculous. 3.6/10
Subversive, funny and an absolute classic, But I’m a Cheerleader is one of the most successful queer romantic comedies ever made. 9.3/10
On its own, And Then Came Lola is poor. Having seen the film it’s based on, it becomes infuriating. Any film that bases itself so heavily on an existent film is risky because it welcomes comparisons to the original. In this case, And Then Came Lola came up short time after time. 2.8/10
Cloudburst is just delightful. It’s a sweet, funny, touching film. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be indignant and upset about the troubles queer senior citizens can face. 9.3/10
There’s a great deal of things that happen in The Favourite. Some of it is queer love, some of it is politics, some of it is unknowable to me because director Yorgos Lanthimos is a weird dude. All of it is very, very good. 9.4/10
