Basically if you wanna see this movie for lesbian sex, it’s worth it. If you’re neutral to negative on that aspect though, Below Her Mouth has nothing else to offer. 5.9/10

There’s a great deal of things that happen in The Favourite. Some of it is queer love, some of it is politics, some of it is unknowable to me because director Yorgos Lanthimos is a weird dude. All of it is very, very good. 9.4/10
It made me a little sad to watch this movie because I really wanted to like this movie and it was trying its hardest. Sadly, for as hard as Joe + Belle tried, it didn’t succeed on any level. 3.4/10
Despite my preference towards horror films and WLW films, Make a Wish is so poor that even my aggressive bias towards WLW horror movies can save it. 2.5/10
Passion is a movie I like far more than it deserves. This movie is frustrating, uneven and confusing. Unfortunately, I’m basically a magpie and this movie is the cinematic equivalent of a shiny thing. 6.1/10
Carol is a beautiful movie that appealed to both the lesbian in me and the film snob in me. Anchored by great performances and a great director, Carol is one of few mainstream lesbian movie in which the lesbians get to be happy. 9.4/10
Go Fish is a film that was the peak of trendy back in 1994 and is now becoming something of a period piece. It is interesting to see this very 90’s depiction of lesbian culture and fascinating to see the ways the culture has changed and the ways it has stayed the same. 6.1/10
Don’t watch this movie. There’s no reason to. There are no redeeming features about this movie. It’s not even the sort of staggeringly, remarkably bad or fun bad. It’s just bland and without talent. I regret watching it. 1.5/10
For someone just discovering the genre, Imagine Me & You is a really excellent choice for an early feature as well as one to revisit when you’re feeling down and just need something that makes you feel warm and happy. 9.4/10
It’s mislabeled as a comedy but as a drama with some light comic relief, The Feels generally succeeds.
