Even in its somewhat unfocused, weirdly stylized state, Bound has more charm and entertainment value than most queer films I’ve watched. 8.4/10

Featuring a script that manages to tie in the flaws of teen years with a sense of nostalgia and truly stunning cinematography, The Summer of Sangaile is a must-see in the over saturated genre of teen coming-of-age dramas. 8.7/10
Despite every single one being what the internet would call, “problematic,” no sub-genre of WLW films will ever bring me more joy than 70’s vampire movies. Daughters of Darkness is a particular standout in a genre. 8.5/10
I absolutely think Circumstance is worth a watch but be prepared to feel hollow and hopeless after it’s over. 8.2/10
Genuinely funny yet effectively dramatic, Saving Face is a successful film with great characters, writing and performance. 8.4/10
Thelma is an enjoyable sit featuring a strong story, excellent direction and a brilliant performance by Eili Harboe. This is absolutely one to check out. 8.7/10
The Vampire Lovers is absolutely a sleazy exploitation film. But if you look past the never ending parade of topless women, there is some really good film making and artistry to be found in it. 7.5/10
The fact that so many WLW movies since have been inspired by Desert Hearts or used it as a jumping off point is a positive, not a negative. Desert Hearts laid the foundation for WLW romances movies decades to come. 8.1/10
Madchen in Uniform was banned by the Nazis. Nothing I can say is a more positive review than that fact. 8.1/10
A Question of Love is my first choice recommendation for a pro-gay movie to show your grandparents both in terms of the message it sends and the quality of the finished product. 6.3/10
