Monstrous isn’t terrible. It’s competent, but fails to bring real scares. There’s also not enough Yeti representation. 4.3/10

May’s weirdness as a film and as a character brilliantly exemplifies some of the themes of queer horror. There’s definite appeal here for queer people, weirdos and anyone who considers them self an outsider. 7.1/10
I can’t believe I’m saying this about a film that had a human sacrifice that descended into funky naked dancing, but Caribbean Papaya is pretty boring. 3.4/10
Contracted is a nasty, disturbing horrifying movie that I regret watching. So now I’m left with the question: Is it a fair to criticize a horror film over the fact that it did indeed horrify me? 6/10
This review is a lot of words but really, that’s all you need to know. Ultimately, Brides to Be a horror movie that isn’t remotely horrifying. 3.1/10
I hope streaming service Shudder keeps snapping up these gay A24 cast-off horror films. The Last Thing Mary Saw might not be as good as say, The Witch, but few things are. 7/10
Being an above average Jess Franco film still means this is still a bad film by any other metric. 3.1/10
Carmilla is the rare film I wish were longer. I did not want to leave the story and world this film created. 7.6/10
I love a slow-burn horror movie. Dead Earth is slow, but there’s no burn. 2.5/10
