This is an overall middling movie. It’s competent, polished and had enough budget to tell its story. But the story it tells isn’t anything remotely new. 5.7/10

Nyad is one of those movies that when graded on the larger scale of all movies ever, is pretty middling. But for a WLW film, it’s above average. 6.6/10
The movie manages to combine universal themes with specific, local details. Shame about that ending though. 6.0/10
Lasse Hallström is not stretching himself with Hilma. But even him phoning it in still amounts in a decent film. 6.4/10
perhaps because I’m already a fan of her output, We Are Gamily fell short of my high expectations for a Zero Chou film. 4.7/10
WLW films found a new low with Between Us. And I really hope that I can take that bullet for you by reviewing the film so you don’t watch it personally. 1.9/10
Thick is not a perfect movie. But there’s a lot to celebrate about this low budget crime drama. Namely, the fact that it’s 71 minutes long. 5.7/10
I almost liked Black Cobra Woman. I understood its reason for existence, it had one very fun death scene and more queer content than I expected. But this still isn’t a good movie. 4.7/10
