Beyond its underrepresented protagonist, there’s such a strong sense throughout the film of Jorge Manzano’s passion and talent as a storytelling. But so many of the decisions and limitations brought on by budget hinder that story from reaching its full potential. 5.0/10

This is a Lifetime TV movie. And the wish fulfillment aspect is uneven. Trying to fit cathartic, queer wish fulfillment into a Lifetime TV movie-shaped box further exacerbates some of the issues with both aspects. 5.5/10
At some point when making a film about murder, incest and class issues you gotta ask yourself, how many nude scenes does this movie really need? 6.0/10
Chutney Popcorn is a good movie. I can’t get more passionate about it than that but that’s because I’m inherently biased against the 1990s. 6.3/10
While it’s a TV movie so it’s not exactly Oscar-bait, If These Walls Could Talk 2 is at least it is a solid piece of Emmy-bait. 7.4/10
Cheeky is definitely just softcore porn without any higher aspirations. 3.3/10
Don’t watch this movie. There’s no reason to. There are no redeeming features about this movie. It’s not even the sort of staggeringly, remarkably bad or fun bad. It’s just bland and without talent. I regret watching it. 1.5/10
