Sister Sister is very high on entertainment value. But don’t expect much intelligence nor focus on lesbianism. This movie understands thriller beats better than most. But its execution of those beats is uneven at best. 5.6/10

80 Days is such a sweet movie. The two lead characters are so charming to watch together. I could’ve easily watched 800 days of them. 8.1/10
Queer people deserve this sort of wish fulfillment, cliche romantic media. More than that, they deserve it to be good. The Substitute is here to be an entry into that all too rare club of quality queer wish fulfillment romances. 6.9/10
This is not the most exciting WLW film by any means. But if you need a sort of gentle relationship tragedy, Finding the Adolescence fits that bill. 5.6/10
The subtly of And Breathe Normally is impressive. There’s nuance, emotion and kindness in this cold and mundane universe. 6.8/10
Whatever edge Concrete Blondes has to it is completely absent in the jokes. And that’s why the film doesn’t work. This is a comedy full of punchlines far too safe and far too predictable. 4.7/10
