Summer is a competent film in a pretty overcrowded subgenre of other competent films. Summer is a pretty middling entry over all; not one of the all time greats, but still a good movie on its own. 6.4/10

I watched What It Was. And upon completion, I could not actually tell you what it was. 2.7/10
Maybe this was a genuinely groundbreaking film back in 2013. But in 2024? It just feels dated, self-involved and most damning of all, not funny. 3/10
Thick is not a perfect movie. But there’s a lot to celebrate about this low budget crime drama. Namely, the fact that it’s 71 minutes long. 5.7/10
This movie is like they put a list of sad things that could happen in an average, every day life into a hat. And then they picked every single one of them to put in the movie. 5.4/10
It makes it all the stranger that in a film so lacking in overall quality that there is a relationship that features such extraordinary chemistry from the two actresses. Sadly, the scenes between Zoe and Shelby don’t make up enough of the movie to drag Kiss Me out of being a pretty bad movie. 3.5/10
This is not the most exciting WLW film by any means. But if you need a sort of gentle relationship tragedy, Finding the Adolescence fits that bill. 5.6/10
A Wife Alone has a complete lack of novelty. Nothing about this movie is fresh, exciting or necessary. 3.2/10
I didn’t hate spending 86 minutes in this story. But there’s simply more negatives to the film that I can pinpoint than positives. I like Love Island’s energy. But really, that’s about it. 4.5/10
Girl’s Blood is a movie that really enjoys looking at women. But it has very little understanding of the fact that women are complex people. Plus, the fight scenes aren’t even that good. 3.1/10
