Open Wound makes some smart choices and some interesting choices. There’s some real potential here. But at the end of the film, it’s primarily an unsatisfying and frustrating watch and not remotely frightening. 3.5/10

Sisters of the Plague is dead boring. 2.7/10
Suicide Kale is fine. It has some minor laughs, mild intrigue and some genuine empathy at its centre. But it’s not exactly a standout in any way. 5.5/10
In 600 WLW movies, I’ve seem so absolute garbage. And Don’t Look at Me That Way isn’t on that level. But that doesn’t mean there’s enough here to recommend either. 4.6/10
Heartland is just the next victim of my WLW film burnout era. While the film is competent, there isn’t enough here that’s unique and memorable to me. 5.3/10
The pacing and focus of this film is just not where it needs to be. 3.6/10
Fantasy of the Girls has no right to go as hard as it does. The plot is something you could find on a Nickolodeon show for pre-teens. But the handling of this plot gives the film such an air of intensity and maturity. 7.4/10
As a romantic drama, More Than Friends had so much drama it stopped working as a romance. 3.1/10
If you need something cute to spend less than 50% of your brain power on, Touch might be the movie for you. 5.6/10
This review is a lot of words but really, that’s all you need to know. Ultimately, Brides to Be a horror movie that isn’t remotely horrifying. 3.1/10
