While I didn’t see the film in its original, unfiltered form, I also don’t think that would largely change my thoughts on the film. I doubt that missing ten minutes or presence of some shots of nipples would somehow transform the hour and 57 minutes of film I did see. 2.0/10

Among the mess and in some ways, because of the mess, The Persian Version is enjoyable, engaging and vibrant. 6.4/10
Bonobo is a film entrenched in British culture and stereotype. This inherently makes the film too uptight and repressed to do full justice to its main premise. 5.4/10
While it isn’t new, it is both funny and not wholly inaccurate to modern teen experiences. And for a teen comedy, what more can you ask? 6.0/10
Mostly, I just found Ringolevio tedious. The realism and subtlety of how they tell this story tips right over into dullness. 3.3/10
As a remake and really, as a queer film for someone as jaded as me, The Wedding Banquet exceeded my expectations. This is a pitch-perfect dramedy and a really excellent remake that expands on the original’s themes in a way the original could not have done. 9.0/10
Prom Dates is like if Booksmart was designed by a Disney+ committee. That’s all you need to know, really. 5.5/10
There are arguments or explorations of how this movie does representation, particularly of its sapphic characters. Such a topic would be a great one for me and my website to cover. Too bad I don’t feel strongly enough about this movie to do that. 4.6/10
Chedeng and Apple is dark, it’s funny and it also has a truly beautiful amount of heart to it. 7.6/10
