Puccini for Beginners is bad but not notably bad. It’s not interesting enough for that. It’s just another failed romantic comedy. How bland. 4.6/10

Sometimes it’s nice to see a movie that just has two women meeting each other, falling in love and ending up happy. I Can’t Think Straight is one such movie. 7.1/10
Anatomy of a Love Seen had some good moments, solid acting and a meta but weirdly good final sex scene. However, none of that was enough to make my opinion of this film more than a resounding “meh.” 5.3/10
Shot by such a bland filmmaker as Chris Columbus, the personality and edge necessary to make Rent work and make it connect with disaffected young people is totally lost. 4.7/10
Kissing Jessica Stein is one of few well-done looks at bisexuality, sexual experimentation and the difference between romantic and sexual attraction. 7.9/10
Not only does it featuring explicitly queer characters, it allows them to be happy and alive. From the time it was made in, Personal Best’s take on sexuality is quite refreshing. 6.1/10
To any WLW out there with shitty parents, Nick Offerman’s character in Hearts Beat Loud is your dad now. I don’t make the rules, he just is. 7.9/10
