I’m a big fan of how The Quietude depicts its fucked up content. They underplay it. There’s this sense that the characters in the film and perhaps the film itself don’t quite realize how fucked up this all is. And that juxtaposition makes it all the more disturbing. 7.5/10

I thought I didn’t like these Christmas movies because they’re cliche. Turns out, I just didn’t like them because they’re all straight. Under the Christmas Tree gives me and other queer women a sweet, cliche romance that allows us to fantasize or imagine ourselves in. 6.6/10
The War Widow undoubtedly looks like a 1976 TV movie. But within that framework, there is a sweet, small yet quietly radical romance. 6.3/10
Technically, Laurie, the lead character in 2 Seconds is bisexual. But really, more than anything she’s bikesexual. But you know what they say, you can’t spell bicycle without bi. 6.4/10
