Even in its somewhat unfocused, weirdly stylized state, Bound has more charm and entertainment value than most queer films I’ve watched. 8.4/10

My main critique of When Night is Falling is one that is maybe spawned out of envy. I just feel like Camille might be too bland to deserve her super cool, devoted circus girlfriend. 6.0/10
Featuring a script that manages to tie in the flaws of teen years with a sense of nostalgia and truly stunning cinematography, The Summer of Sangaile is a must-see in the over saturated genre of teen coming-of-age dramas. 8.7/10
The key requirement of a thriller film is right there in its title. A thriller should thrill its audience. Therefore, Chloe is not a successful movie. 4.9/10
Despite every single one being what the internet would call, “problematic,” no sub-genre of WLW films will ever bring me more joy than 70’s vampire movies. Daughters of Darkness is a particular standout in a genre. 8.5/10
I really wanted to and expected to like Tell it to the Bees. However, it was neither completely enjoyable nor interesting. 5.2/10
I absolutely think Circumstance is worth a watch but be prepared to feel hollow and hopeless after it’s over. 8.2/10
D.E.B.S. is a rarity within the WLW film genre in two ways. The first is that it’s an action movie, the second is that is has a happy ending. I champion both of these genres. On the downside, when I watch a WLW film, I don’t like it to stylistically remind me of the live action Scooby-Doo films. 6.1/10
Genuinely funny yet effectively dramatic, Saving Face is a successful film with great characters, writing and performance. 8.4/10
