I can’t believe I’m saying this about a film that had a human sacrifice that descended into funky naked dancing, but Caribbean Papaya is pretty boring. 3.4/10

Blue Rita is almost camp. It’s only stopped because despite all the lesbianism, it’s still too overtly heterosexual and too damn horny to fully cross that line. 3.3/10
The tragedy of A Woman Like Eve is that its themes of emotional labour, lesbian discrimination and custody battles still feel prescient 40 years later. 7.4/10

he Coming of Sin has some of the worst sexual politics I’ve seen in a movie. It doesn’t like women but also isn’t even competent enough to explain why it doesn’t like women. 1.7/10

The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant is fantastic. A great script, great cast and excellent direction makes this an easy transition from stage to screen. 9.2/10
