Even while looking directly at it, The Adored failed to grab my full attention or leave a strong impression. 2.4/10

Strange Frame: Love and Sax occupies a wholly unique space in the WLW film pantheon. The film has big ideas and a lot of creativity. Where it falters is its execution. 5.7/10
Had this been a trilogy of films, the shift in tone would have worked. But in a 90-minute movie, everything in Soongava felt far too rushed. 5.8/10
Young and Wild is not a perfect film. I certainly have mixed opinions on it. But for all its faults, one I am certain of is that this film would have been 50 times worse had it not been directed by a woman. 6.2/10
Laurence Anyways is a beautifully shot portrait of a trans woman and her female lover. 7.9/10
A Perfect Ending is a well-performed drama with enough intelligence and talent to portray topics of WLW sexuality and death without falling into one of the many pitfalls both those plots have. 7.6/10
Yes or No 2: Come Back To Me is just one cliche after another, whether that be romance cliches or overused jokes. I found it charming in the first movie but this time around, I did not.
