Beauty is not entirely a failure. There’s ambition and passion here. And some of it works. But ultimately, the film has more misses than hits. 4.6/10

Camila Comes Out Tonight is a perfectly competent little film. I am not overly moved only because of the sheer abundance of coming-of-age queer films I’ve seen. 5.8/10
Two has good directing, acting, and a solid first hour. However, the rushed final act keeps the film from being something I can call overall good. 5.6/10
Bodies Bodies Bodies scared me less than I expected, but made me laugh more. The film takes 20-something messiness and ramps it up so high that it has a body count. 7.7/10
This is one of the purest examples of a thrilling movie I’ve seen in the WLW genre. The Novice is edge of your seat, heart racing viewing. 8.6/10
I am giving Leading Ladies a bad review because of the absence of anything particularly positive about it. 3.5/10
The Divide provides exactly zero escapism. It is a cold, bitter dose of reality on screen. 8.1/10
This is going to be one of the films I compare future coming-of-age films to and likely find it lacking in comparison to Girl Picture’s quality. 8.2/10
