The Sleepover does well on a smaller scale but it can’t exactly hang with the big dogs of high budget and ambition larger scale movies. 5.6/10

Most sapphic movies that are bad and cheap are just boring. Butterfly Crush ain’t boring. It’s weird as hell and so incompetent it almost reaches the uncanny valley Yeah, the core love story here is between a man and a woman. But please, let me have this one. I need it. 2.1/10
This is one of those movies that I give a negative review to because there’s just not enough positive to say about it. The film is a bit thin on the ground anyway, and what they do present is less than great. 3.8/10
In a mere 80 minutes, My First Summer features good directing and some lead teenagers who actually have unique experiences and personality traits. 7.2/10
While there is occasionally a lack of new ideas, Skin Deep stands out because it executes these ideas well. 7.3/10
Ellie and Abbie has a surprising, poignant emotional centre. This, in addition to its genuinely funny jokes, makes it one of the most moving and successful WLW comedies I’ve seen. 8.7/10
Bad Girl never thinks too far outside the box. But inside that box it at least has decent directing, good pacing and good acting. 5.9/10
I have so little to say about All About E. It’s just dull overall. 4.8/10
I think I would’ve really enjoyed The Monkey’s Mask novel. But the movie adaption of said novel? Meh. 4.7/10
