If you like the web-series, you will like The Carmilla Movie. However, I am not sure if jumping right into the movie would be enjoyable. While The Carmilla Movie works as an epilogue to the larger series, I do not know how strongly it stands on its own. 6.4/10

Laurence Anyways is a beautifully shot portrait of a trans woman and her female lover. 7.9/10
Better Than Chocolate’s depiction of queer characters and the queer community is a decade ahead of its time. The bad news is the movie is 20 years old now so it does feel at least a decade out of date. 6.0/10
I found Almost Adults charming and funny but it certainly doesn’t hurt that it’s incredibly easy for me to see myself in these characters. 6.6/10
For all the good things about What Keeps You Alive, it remains a horror/thriller movie and it is neither horrific nor thrilling. 5.4/10
My main critique of When Night is Falling is one that is maybe spawned out of envy. I just feel like Camille might be too bland to deserve her super cool, devoted circus girlfriend. 6.0/10
Genuinely funny yet effectively dramatic, Saving Face is a successful film with great characters, writing and performance. 8.4/10
Allure is a relentlessly unpleasant movie to sit through. The writer/director team who did this should be banned from ever again doing movies about abuse, mental illness, women, relationships or people. 4.1/10
