The best thing I can say about it is that it didn’t monumentally fuck anything up. I’ve seen my fair share of movies that fail to meet that requirement. However, not fucking up doesn’t mean Us x Her did anything particularly good, either. 4.6/10

Adan had a decent idea for how to start its movie and seemingly, a specific way it wanted the film to end. And in between? Bad character work, lousy sex scenes and a plot that doesn’t so much gradually get more unhinged but rather does so in fits and starts. 3.7/10
Beyond being talented and focused on sapphic stories, Lee’s consistency as a creator is something incredibly commendable. Please put her on your radar. Nobody out there is doing it like Samantha Lee. 7.1/10
This isn’t just fluff of no nutritional value. There’s depth and drama to this teen romance too. 7.3/10
The pacing and focus of this film is just not where it needs to be. 3.6/10
Palitan’s attempts to be more than a silly piece of softcore might have doomed it. So much of the story does not mesh with the film’s detours into sex scenes. 3.1/10
But the technical issues of Rome & Juliet do affect what is already a pretty weak script. 3.8/10
For a film to rate below a 3/10 for me, I need to think to myself, “wow, I hate this!” at least once while watching. I had that thought dozens of times watching 69 + 1.

It was pretty disappointing watching a movie subtitled Lesbian Love and it being as overall straight as T-Bird at Ako is. 2.2/10
Maybe Tomorrow brims with youthful energy and fresh ideas. 7.1/10
