May’s weirdness as a film and as a character brilliantly exemplifies some of the themes of queer horror. There’s definite appeal here for queer people, weirdos and anyone who considers them self an outsider. 7.1/10

Contracted is a nasty, disturbing horrifying movie that I regret watching. So now I’m left with the question: Is it a fair to criticize a horror film over the fact that it did indeed horrify me? 6/10

While slow and subtle until the third act, Clementine holds itself together with beautiful visuals. 5.7/10
Beauty is not entirely a failure. There’s ambition and passion here. And some of it works. But ultimately, the film has more misses than hits. 4.6/10
As an aspiring filmmaker myself, this is a great example of a well-done script with great characters that can be shot on a smaller budget. The outcome is a dark, moving and funny portrait of a complex relationship. 6.8/10
Lianna is a progressive, sensitive and spectacular character study. 8.9/10
Bodies Bodies Bodies scared me less than I expected, but made me laugh more. The film takes 20-something messiness and ramps it up so high that it has a body count. 7.7/10
