having seen numerous of these toxic female relationship films, Heartbeast’s artistic merits and gripping atmosphere kept me on the edge of my seat. That’s what I want a thriller to do and that’s often something I miss from this subgenre. 6.7/10

You’re Not Supposed To Be Here is a Lifetime thriller. There was basically a 0% chance this thing was going to be good. But at least it’s a watchable kind of bad. 4.2/10
Wild Things: Diamonds in the Rough created an idealized, misogynistic world where the only women in it are hot. And then made the choice to hate all the women it just made up. 2/10
The Origin of Evil is a pretty great example of the fucked up rich family melodrama. 7.4/10
The simultaneous high point and low point of Girls on Film is the line “you’re in a toxic relationship… with yourself.” This movie is not very good. 3.3/10
The Great Swindle gets high marks for style. But as a film about cons and deceptions, it needs much more substance in addition to its style. 5.3/10
I’m remarkable uninspired by The Retreat. I’ve seen every single aspect of this film multiple times in other places. 4.5/10
