Jagged Mind isn’t nearly as thrilling as it should be. The story doesn’t live up to the premise. And it’s further let down by some technical weaknesses. 4.8/10
Sister Sister is very high on entertainment value. But don’t expect much intelligence nor focus on lesbianism. This movie understands thriller beats better than most. But its execution of those beats is uneven at best. 5.6/10
This is a middling thriller with no visible ambition of being anything other than a momentary diversion soon to be forgotten by both audience and the makers of the film. 4.4/10
There’s so many issues of taste and morals worthy of critique in Helga, She Wolf of Stilberg. But my main issue with the film is how half-assed it is. If you’re gonna go there, go there! Make a movie too extreme for me to watch. Helga wasn’t that at all. 3.2/10
I can at least respect when a movie swings big and misses spectacularly. Listen isn’t that. It’s more of a film that does the bare minimum to hold together and make a quick buck. 3.8/10
Without budget, it is an uphill battle to make a good movie. Did Devil’s Cove brave that incline and struggle through its limited means to make a good piece of art? Nope! This movie is very bad! 1.8/10
A Wife Alone has a complete lack of novelty. Nothing about this movie is fresh, exciting or necessary. 3.2/10
This is a well-shot movie with a genuinely interesting psychosexual dynamic between its leads. But don’t worry, there’s still tits aplenty as well. 6.9/10
Even while looking directly at it, The Adored failed to grab my full attention or leave a strong impression. 2.4/10
