To my knowledge, there is nothing Swedish about this film, girls or otherwise. So, right from the start, we’re on a bad foot. 3.4/10

While not bad as a film, this is a story I’ve seen multiple times done both better and more interesting. Gasoline is ultimately pretty forgettable if you’ve seen more than one queer crime film. 5.1/10
The Slave is one of the most stylish softcore films I’ve seen. It delves deeper into kink than other similar movies. What I would give for a version of this movie that had dialogue to back up the rest of the film’s good qualities. 5.6/10
Vintage psychodramas are a non-renewable resource. We’re not exactly getting more of them. So I adore the ones we do have. As imperfect as they are, they are engaging, fucked up and also willing to explore some interesting concepts. 6.2/10
Beyond Love might be the worst lesbian conception dramas I’ve seen. I’d strongly advise giving this one a miss. 3/10
I almost liked Black Cobra Woman. I understood its reason for existence, it had one very fun death scene and more queer content than I expected. But this still isn’t a good movie. 4.7/10
In a subgenre full of such similar films, Mom + Mom is a below average execution of the standard tropes and plot points. 3.7/10
I’m not saying there are no nude scenes, but women actually spend more of the film with their clothes on, crafting complex relationships and inherently critiquing the Catholic church. 7.5/10
I can’t believe this movie exists. The style of it assures you it is indeed a film from 1969. But the content of its story is staggeringly progressive for its time. 6.5/10
The Corruption remains a beautiful looking movie, but one with an identity crisis about whether it’s erotica or more serious art. 5.5/10
