The visuals can’t really add much to such a character-heavy story. Or maybe there’s a way they could, but that wasn’t present in Navidad. 5.3/10

Nice though it is to look at, Bonnie & Bonnie doesn’t bring much new to the gay couple crime spree subgenre. 5.8/10
Losing Chase isn’t particularly gay, or particularly ambitious. It really does feel like a 90 minute story all in service of one admittedly spectacular kiss. 6.1/10
I love the message of this film and came to enjoy the characters. But my god, Badhaai Do was too long. 6.0/10
Contracted is a nasty, disturbing horrifying movie that I regret watching. So now I’m left with the question: Is it a fair to criticize a horror film over the fact that it did indeed horrify me? 6/10
While slow and subtle until the third act, Clementine holds itself together with beautiful visuals. 5.7/10
Two has good directing, acting, and a solid first hour. However, the rushed final act keeps the film from being something I can call overall good. 5.6/10
The Freudian focus of The Escape is the rotten centre of a stylish and intriguing vintage WLW film. 5.2/10
I do not know who the audience is for the Compulsion remake. I can’t see anyone singling this out as a favourite movie of theirs. It never quite comes together. 5.4/10
