Despite its run time being in the 90 minute range, the film felt slow and far too long. It’s frustrating because I think Replay could be an interesting movie if it just did more. But it didn’t. 4.9/10
I’ve seen a lot of queer movies in my time clearly made for a straight audience. That’s nothing new. What is new is the lengths to which Serving in Silence: The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story went to cater to a straight audience. 4.4/10
Compulsion has nothing going for it. The focus of this movie is being sexy so character work and story are almost non-existent. But it’s also not even that sexy or extreme. 3.9/10
I think I would’ve really enjoyed The Monkey’s Mask novel. But the movie adaption of said novel? Meh. 4.7/10
Saying that Summer Lover is like a bad soap opera would be an insult to bad soap operas. 2.6/10
I just don’t understand why this movie about teenage girls lacked so much insight into their subject matter and didn’t seem to do anything to solve it such as talking to real life teenage girls. 3.9/10
It’s in the Water isn’t good. However, it’s also not bad enough for me to get particularly passionate about. It’s just a mild failure. 4.4/10
I’m pretty sure Female Perversions thinks it’s smart. It thinks it’s saying something and making a point. It is not. It’s neither smart nor sexy nor memorable. 4.7/10
Girl Slaves of Morgana Le Fay is a bad and lazy film. The only passion here is for the feeling of being high and it shows. 3.4/10
