Rara is a sweet story with an injection of tragedy stemming from gay inequality. 7.6/10
A Taste of Flesh is a lot more understanding of basic female humanity than most films in the exploitation genre. Don’t worry, though! There’s still tits aplenty. 5.8/10
In addition to a great antagonist, Shady is successful at cultivating an air of mounting dread and helplessness. 6.5/10
Mango Kiss is one of the least sexy depictions of kink I’ve ever seen. For a comedy movie, that shouldn’t be a problem. But it’s not funny either. 3/10
Air falls victim of being good but not great in the over-crowded field of WLW teen dramas. 5.6/10
This is one of the purest examples of a thrilling movie I’ve seen in the WLW genre. The Novice is edge of your seat, heart racing viewing. 8.6/10
Murmur of Youth is a perfectly adept film. But it’s a very small, quiet story that isn’t exactly going to stand out in my memory. 5.6/10
Goldfish Memory fits a truly insane amount of character and plot into its runtime. And it does so without feeling too overstuffed. 6.7/10
