While there are elements of Body of Deceit that could have been worse, they’re vastly overshadowed by the elements that could have been better. 3.3/10

Parallel Mothers is just the latest in a long line of great-looking Almodovar films with complex relationships that celebrate women and queerness. 8.9/10
Bobbie’s Girl is perfectly fine. I don’t have any abject negatives about the film. But I can’t bring myself to be passionately in its favour either. 6.1/10
While I do wish the film had less cliche, I’m beyond thrilled that Tove Jansson gets an overtly queer and charming biopic. 7.8/10
I went into this expecting Freelancers Anonymous to be #relatable. It isn’t. This is a self-insert fantasy too specific to its creator to have broad appeal. 3.1/10

The tragedy of A Woman Like Eve is that its themes of emotional labour, lesbian discrimination and custody battles still feel prescient 40 years later. 7.4/10
