Signature Move had the potential to be really funny. However, the bizarre choice to direct the film in a style more suited to drama really stopped the script from reaching its full potential. 5.9/10

Bitch Slap is made for an audience of young, stupid, straight men. If you aren’t this audience, the film will do everything in its power to let you know you aren’t welcome. 3.1/10
Summertime is a beautiful, romantic film. The main romance is a treat to watch and the rest of the film’s themes and plots are well-executed. 8.3/10
Theresa and Allison is not a good movie and I am very, very tired. 4.1/10
As the horror-loving lesbian that I am, I’ve seen several adaptions of Carmilla at this point. Styria falls more or less in the middle of these adaptions. 5.6/10
I loved Knife + Heart. The film is a queer update of a genre I already loved. It’s kept all the staples of that genre while managing to make a film that’s gay-friendly instead of homophobic. 8.7/10
. I love films that reference an old thing but update it to make it queer. I just think Sweet, Sweet Lonely Girl needed about 20% more spookiness to be fully successful.
No one is more surprised than I that I found James Franco’s exercise in lesbian vampire fan fiction actually pretty enjoyable. 6.6/10
To my pleasant surprise, Schoolgirl Complex is hardly sexual or fetishized at all. But crossing the low threshold of not being sleazy and gross is not enough to make it an interesting movie. 5.5/10
