At the end of the day, Winepires was mostly dull, a little confusing and had some of the worst blunt force trauma sound effects I’ve seen in a movie. 3.3/10

Sisters of the Plague is dead boring. 2.7/10
Cheap, amateur and uninspired, Louise and Her Lover is a chore to sit through. 1.9/10
Summer is a competent film in a pretty overcrowded subgenre of other competent films. Summer is a pretty middling entry over all; not one of the all time greats, but still a good movie on its own. 6.4/10
Suicide Kale is fine. It has some minor laughs, mild intrigue and some genuine empathy at its centre. But it’s not exactly a standout in any way. 5.5/10
Adan had a decent idea for how to start its movie and seemingly, a specific way it wanted the film to end. And in between? Bad character work, lousy sex scenes and a plot that doesn’t so much gradually get more unhinged but rather does so in fits and starts. 3.7/10
Violette is a well put together biopic about a more than worthy subject. It is not exactly the most groundbreaking biopic by any measure and I still think it runs a touch long. But this is ultimately, a solid film. 6.8/10
I think I had a better time with Christabel because of my own ignorance. That final 10 minutes went hard as hell and heavily impacted how I ultimately viewed the movie (positively). 6.5/10
Loss Prevention got a few laughs out of me and put me in a good mood. I enjoyed seeing a professional wrestler depict one of the best fathers in lesbian cinema. But ultimately, I don’t think this is quite good enough to get the passing grade. 4.9/10
Personally, I did not enjoy The Ladies Almanack. That being said, the amount of love, passion and creativity present in every shot in this film is something I admire. 4.6/10
