Anchor and Hope is one of at least a half dozen very similar themed movies I’ve seen. And within that collection of films, it’s a middling entry. 5.4/10

I kept waiting to enjoy the movie. Then, the credits rolled. And I was still waiting for Snapshots to get good. 5.7/10
Crush tried far, far too hard to be cool and trendy. And there’s nothing less cool than that. 5.4/10
She Must Be Seeing Things surprised me with its well-crafted story featuring realistic and interesting characters and hints of darkness lying just beneath the surface. 7.5/10
While I can’t outright give this film a positive rating, I do think Her Side of the Bed shows a lot of potential. 5.5/10
Gray Matters neuters its own message and makes this a film without an audience. 4.7/10
The comedy is hit and miss but A Family Affair’s overall story of love, acceptance and its relationship with religion generally works. 5.6/10
Blue Rita is almost camp. It’s only stopped because despite all the lesbianism, it’s still too overtly heterosexual and too damn horny to fully cross that line. 3.3/10
Ma Belle, My Beauty is a languid, decadent experience of a movie. 7.1/10
While there are elements of Body of Deceit that could have been worse, they’re vastly overshadowed by the elements that could have been better. 3.3/10
