The World to Come is beautiful, sensual, subtle, and really, really, fucking sad. 8.9/10
Vic + Flo offers an unusual narrative by taking a simple story and making the choice for its characters to be queer women over a certain age. But really, the star here is how damn beautiful the film is to look at. 8/10
Catamaran is an imperfect yet successfully emotionally resonant film. 6.4/10
Nadja is stylish, thoughtful and surprisingly funny even if it ends with surprise incest undertones. 7.1/10
Fear Street Part 3: 1666 was definitely my favourite of the Fear Street trilogy because it offered a satisfactory conclusion. 6.5/10

Supernova is slow, meandering and doesn’t present the best depiction of a 15 year old’s sexuality. But damn, it’s just so nice to look at. 6.5/10
Ellie and Abbie has a surprising, poignant emotional centre. This, in addition to its genuinely funny jokes, makes it one of the most moving and successful WLW comedies I’ve seen. 8.7/10
