BBC TV movies are of a solid, uniform quality. Daphne is no exception. This is a good movie. But that’s as far as I’m willing to go. 6.4/10

The medium chosen to tell this story and the quality of directing brings down Stud Life’s vibrant, likeable and realistic protagonist. 5.1/10

Anchor and Hope is one of at least a half dozen very similar themed movies I’ve seen. And within that collection of films, it’s a middling entry. 5.4/10
Fear of Water needs to be better than just okay to stand out as a queer coming of age film. 5.1/10
Prey is not bad because it lacked good ideas. It is bad because it squandered the good ideas it did have. 4/10
Dark Beacon is not scary, thrilling or tense. 3/10
